Study of the Effect of Substrate on 3D Surface Roughness in Diamond-Like-Carbon Coating Process

چکیده

This paper presents an experimental platform which is used to study the effect of DLC coating on surface roughness. Variety of experiments is conducted and the effect of variation of the coating process parameters and type and combination of sub layers on the surface roughness of the coated part is discussed.
